This design has a story. I was working on a bass line one day and kept coming back to the note E — realizing I needed to write it as Fb. It hit me that they are the same note, and that e=fb had to be the musician's theory of relativity. I sketched the logo on the spot, had it printed on four t-shirts, and within a few years it was the number one seller in a worldwide catalog — endorsed by Jeff Berlin and featured on Mark Bass Amp tags around the globe. Now it lives on a coffee mug. Because every musician deserves a little relativity in the morning.
